Program Description

The University of Findlay College of Pharmacy offers a fully accredited doctor of pharmacy program. It is primarily a direct-entry, 0+6 program, however, we do accept transfer students each year.

What makes Findlay different?

  • Students are offered multiple dual degree options, including, but not limited to, MBAMaster of Science in Health Informatics, Bachelor of Science in Forensic Science (DNA/Serology or Toxicology) and an AA in Equestian Studies along with the Pharm. D.
  • Professional courses taught in small sections of a maximum of 36 students
  • Classes are taught interactively, with a faculty to student ratio during on-campus professional years, of 1:8!
  • Senior students do all nine months of clinical education at one of 30+ hub sites, but can choose from a variety of elective experiences away from the hub to help each student meet personal and professional goals.
  • All professors are doctorally qualified.
  • Professors have an educationally diverse background.
  • Our faculty use an interactive teaching style, integrating subjects such as pharmacy, pharmacology, medicinal chemistry, kinetics, herbal and over-the-counter therapies into an organ system based curriculum.

Interview Format: Individual applicants with one interviewer

Interview Dates:
Details: Offers to interview are based on a completed Pharmacy & UF applications, transcripts & test scores. Interviews for transfer students will be conducted on a rolling basis. You will be asked to write a short essay and will interview, one-on-one, with a College of Pharmacy faculty member or administrator. Each interview will be approximately 30 minutes in length and is an important part of the admission decision. Writing materials for the essay will be furnished. A photo ID may be required.
