Program Description
The Touro University California College of Pharmacy program is a four-year Doctor of Pharmacy program located on historic Mare Island in the Northeast corner of the San Francisco Bay. Our program is unique nationwide in that it includes two full years of clinical practice that is preceded by just two years of didactic instruction. This “2 + 2” curriculum structure provides our graduates with greater professional confidence and more experience practicing the things they learn, which prepares our graduates for clinically-oriented, contemporary pharmacy practices. Interviews are conducted using a panel style format with two or more interviewers with a single applicant. In addition to the interview, applicants will receive presentations about financial aid, an overview of the program, and may be required to write an on-site essay and complete a short calculations assessment.
