Program Description

The mission of the Union University College of Pharmacy is to develop compassionate, comprehensively trained practitioners who are equipped to meet the immediate and future demands of pharmaceutical science and patient care in an ever changing health care environment. The vision of the Union University College of Pharmacy is to:

Completion timing: All prerequisite work must be completed prior to the first day of classes for the P1 year.

Three letters of recommendation are required and must be submitted directly to PharmCAS. These should be from professors, academic advisors, employers or supervisors of volunteer activities (a reference from a pharmacist is recommended but not required).

Interview Information

Interview Format: Individual applicants with two or more interviewers

Online interview option: Yes, but only on a case-by-case basis

Following an initial application review, selected candidates are invited to participate in an on-site interview. The interview process includes interaction with a committee of faculty, student ambassadors, and/or community representatives, allowing the program to evaluate each candidate’s academic preparation, communication skills, professionalism, and fit for the pharmacy profession. Candidates are also required to complete an on-site writing assessment as part of the interview process.
