Program Description

Roseman University of Health Sciences College of Pharmacy is a private, non-profit institution that was founded in 1999. The College is fully accredited by ACPE. We have campuses located in Henderson, NV and South Jordan, UT.

The College offers a three year Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) program as well as a dual PharmD/MBA degree. Our block curriculum allows you to focus on one core subject at a time. We are proud of our student-centered, collaborative learning environment. We offer early IPPE experiences starting the beginning of the P1 year and we have outstanding clinical practice sites to develop your professional knowledge and skills.

Program Description

The University of Minnesota College of Pharmacy offers its PharmD program on two campuses – Duluth and the Twin Cities. Both campuses offer a small college feel, yet provide all the opportunities of a large university. Learn more about each campus at http://z.umn.edu/campus.

All classes are taught by faculty who are renowned for their research and innovations in patient-centered care. Throughout the four year program, students work closely with faculty. The student to faculty ratio is 6:1.

Our students learn by doing. Experiential education begins in the first year of the PharmD program. Students learn in diverse patient care settings, typically one-on-one with a preceptor. The College of Pharmacy is part of the University of Minnesota Academic Health Center – organized specifically for health education, research, and practice – and provides opportunities for interprofessional study among medicine, dentistry, nursing, and pharmacy students and faculty.

Letter of Recommendation Requirements

General Information Pacific requires two recommendations:  1.) A recommendation from a professor is required.  It must be from a school you have attended within the last three years. 2.) You may choose to have any other professional complete the second rating form as long as the person is not a family member.  We highly recommend that a science professor and a pharmacist be chosen as your recommenders.  In all cases, the PharmCAS rating form is required.  If you submit more than the required two, we will take all recommendations into consideration.  Be sure you have met our requirement before selecting additional recommenders

Details: Competitive students are invited to campus to interview with one faculty member and one currently enrolled PharmD student.  There is also a writing sample that is required to be submitted at the interview.  Students will be given a question and asked to write their opinion on the topic. Candidates will also be given a presentation of school organizations and activities, and a tour of the School of Pharmacy. Candidates will have ample time to speak to currently enrolled Pharmacy students.
