Applicants who have not been enrolled in a degree program at a college or university for two or more years must submit three recommendation forms to PharmCAS from a combination of the following categories: professors (math and science); pharmacists; other health care professionals (e.g. medicine, nursing, dentistry); or current and previous employers.
Note: PharmCAS references (LOR), once completed by your recommender, must be submitted directly to PharmCAS as a part of the application process.

Interviews are by invitation only. Top applicants meeting the screening criteria set forth by the Admissions Committee will be offered the opportunity to interview with UIC faculty, staff, alumni, and members of the pharmacy community starting in October and continuing through March.
The kind of interviews conducted are MMI (multiple mini interviews). Each mini interview covers a particular characteristic the Admissions Committee would like to see in students.

The Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.) degree is awarded after successful completion of the professional curriculum in the College of Pharmacy. Nova Southeastern University College of Pharmacy, may interview 15-20 applicants in one day. The interview session is a face to face interview one-on-two (one applicant and two faculty members).
