Program Description
Welcome to the University of New England’s College of Pharmacy! We offer a four-year Doctor of Pharmacy program located in picturesque Portland, Maine. http://www.une.edu/pharmacy
The Mission of the College of Pharmacy is to provide an exemplary, learner-centered pharmacy education and advance the practice of pharmacy through interprofessional collaboration, research, patient care and service.
Interprofessional Education Collaborative (IPEC): As a UNE PharmD student, you receive interprofessional training alongside future physicians, dentists, physical therapists, and other training health professionals, so you are able to lead in today’s collaborative health care field.
Cutting-Edge Simulation: UNE’s Sim Lab is an authentic hospital environment with state-of-the-art robotic patient simulators. Here, you gain real-life clinical experience without the real-life risk.
Career Mentorship: Career mentorship is part of UNE’s Pharm.D. program, and it shows in our career placement record: 97% of the class of 2017 were employed within 6 months of graduation!

| Details: | Applications are reviewed as they are received, and interviews will be conducted throughout the cycle by invitation only. Interviews will be 30 minutes with two interviewers; typically with two faculty members. Candidates will spend time learning about the PharmD program, have the opportunity to meet with current students, prepare a writing sample, and tour the campus. |
