Prerequisite Coursework Policies

Online coursework: Accepted for all prerequisite courses. Regis University has partnered with University of New England Online, Portage Learning, StraighterLine and Sophia Learning for pathways to complete prerequisite online, at an accelerated pace and affordable cost. It is preferred that students complete the science requirements in person at a Regionally Accredited school.

Pass/fail grades: Accepted for all prerequisite courses. Only if a passing grade is equivalent to a “C-” or better.

Completion timing: All prerequisites must be completed by August 1, 2027 prior to matriculating and starting the fall semester.

Letter of Recommendation Requirements

One (1) evaluations (letters of reference) are required.

Accepted: Co-Worker, Employer, Faculty Advisor, Health Care Professional, Pharmacist, Politician, Pre-Health Advisor, Professor (Any Subject Area), Professor (Liberal Arts), Professor (Math), Professor (Science), Supervisor, Teaching Assistant

Not Accepted: Clergy, Family Member, Friend

Committee letters: Accepted (counts as more than one: Yes)

The letter of reference (LOR) needs to come from any of the following academic or professional references: professor, TA, academic advisor, supervisor, co-worker or pharmacist. Any reference marking themselves as a friend, family, clergy or other personal reference will not be considered.

Interview Format: Individual applicants with one interviewer

Online interview option: Yes

The interview day involves an opportunity to meet with current students and faculty within the School of Pharmacy, a tour of campus and Pharmacy labs, and individual applicant interviews with faculty. Both in-person and online interview options are available.

Regis University’s TOEFL code is 4656. Applicants that have successfully completed an undergraduate or graduate degree at an accredited US institution do not need to provide a TOEFL score.
